My work van’s alternator died on the freeway on my way home from work. AAA refused to tow me because of the size of my vehicle- told me to call a commercial towing company. I called around and was getting what I thought were pretty high quotes for a 5 mile tow and told it would be an hour or longer till a driver could get to me. I randomly called San Jose Tow Company and was pleasantly surprised when the very pleasant dispatch operator gave me a quote MUCH lower & said I could get picked up in 35 minutes.
